Curator’s note

Four in-house CQI Q-graders cup every week, and the product pages print what was paid for the green next to the cost after labor, which almost nobody does. Lead brewer Esther Kim took the 2026 US Brewers Cup.

  • beans to take home
  • geisha lots
  • signature drinks

The coffee

Everything on bar is the founders' own roast, sourced direct with named farm relationships including San Isidro Labrador and Finca Los Cenizos, and the retail lineup carries more geisha than most shops see in a year.

The room is a 1,060-square-foot corner in Cypress Park that used to be the neighborhood ice-cream shop, and Kim and Sohn left the old sign up on purpose. It took a 2025 Sprudgie finalist spot for Best Design/Packaging and sits in the SCA's Coffee Design showcase, which is a lot of design attention for a place that kept somebody else's signage.
