Curator’s note
Nine single origins named to farm or washing station — Bishan Wate, Masha Kayanza — sit with matching retail bags under a menu the public knows for matcha. Nobody will say who roasts any of it, but order off that pour-over board and it is a different shop than the one the menu advertises.
The coffee
The pour-over board runs nine lots — Ethiopia Bishan Wate, Burundi Masha Kayanza, Costa Rica Finca Espiritu San Luis, Colombia Las Flores Java among them — mirrored by nine retail bags at $26 to $38. No listing prints a roast date, and nothing the shop publishes says who roasts any of it.
Light-oak slats on the facade, marble-top tables, dark bentwood chairs, globe pendants over the bar — sleek, consistent, and packed into a genuinely small unit on the Baker Street Village strip. The design travels with the brand rather than belonging to this address, and it survives the compression better than most rooms would.
