Two months in, SoulCiety is already pouring Stereoscope and building its drinks like it expects to be judged on them. The bench is a custom bracket in cherry stain, angled so people sit facing each other rather than in a row — nobody agonizes over seating geometry in a room they plan to run casually.

SoulCiety serves Stereoscope beans. The drinks are creative espresso builds rather than an origin-forward list — an Orange Bianco of espresso, orange juice and cream, a Monte Blanc, and a matcha program — with no pour-over or bagged retail yet.

The room was fitted out this summer with a custom, cherry-stained bench in a bracket form, laid out so people sit facing each other rather than in a row — it took over a former boba shop and reads nothing like one now. There is no architect or studio credited, so what stands on the record is a small room somebody cared enough to have built rather than bought, two months old on a Brea highway.
