The Boy & The Bear

The Green Store is the brand's rainforest: matte greens deepening toward a dark bar, gold used sparingly the way the Muisca used it, and greenery closing in from the edges under a canopy of a ceiling. Brian Steely's hand-painted mural of birds, anacondas, and jaguars hangs above the bar like the room's founding myth.

The same Colombian-first program as every room in the family — espresso, pour-overs, and the Emerald Series rare lots, roasted at the brand's own Los Angeles roastery. Matcha and fresh pastries round out the case.

Muted matte greens, a black-and-dark-green bar, restrained gold, and dense controlled greenery under a canopy-like ceiling. The room took the SCA Coffee Design Award at Portland 2023, and the patio makes it the rare room in the family with outdoor seating.
