Go Get Em Tiger
Larchmont's corner of the GGET operation, pouring its own Vernon roast since 2018.
Curator’s note
The coffee here is not in doubt: the company roasts its own in Vernon, and the retail bags lead with the grower — Jaime Munoz in Honduras, Worka Chelbessa in Ethiopia. The room is the ordinary part, and the only brewed coffee on the Larchmont board is a single-origin filter dialed in daily by batch, which is a lot of championship pedigree pointed at a batch brewer.
The coffee
The house roast comes from the company's own Vernon roastery, opened in 2018 on a 15-kilo Mill City machine developed with consultant Scott Rao, and retail bags lead with the grower — Jaime Munoz in Honduras, Melese Wolde and Worka Chelbessa in Ethiopia, all named-producer lots. In the cafe, brewed coffee is a single line, a Single Origin Filter at $5.75, dialed in daily by batch, alongside espresso, cold brew, and a milk-drink list.
The room reads as a deliberate corner shop on a walking street rather than a destination build, and no architect or design studio is credited to it. What Larchmont has instead is a location that works and a breakfast-and-lunch kitchen running behind the bar.
